Dr. Tate Masunaga

Dr. Tate Masunaga was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, and comes from a large family of dentists and orthodontists. He decided to make Washington State his home after earning his DMD degree from Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) and completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program in Seattle.

He is an active member of the Washington State Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Seattle Study Club, and the Spears Study Club. Dr. Masunaga has completed advanced training at the world prestigious Kois Center and is committed to staying abreast of the latest and most current trends in dentistry.

Being raised in Hawaii instilled in him the Hawaiian philosophy of “Pono,” which means “goodness, doing the right thing, and serving others.” During his free time, Dr. Masunaga enjoys photography, videography, electronic music, and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
